On June 26, Zhou Shengming, the director of the Consultative Committee of the Semiconductor Industry Association of Shenzhen, stated at the 2026 China (Shenzhen) Integrated Circuit Summit that for a long time, China's integrated circuit industry has had a large trade deficit. However, in recent years, the growth rate of China's integrated circuit exports has exceeded the growth rate of imports, which is also evidence of the Chinese semiconductor industry moving towards the world. According to statistics, in 2025, Shenzhen's integrated circuit industry achieved sales revenue of 361.04 billion yuan, an increase of 27.1% year-on-year, exceeding the planned target of 270 billion yuan, and the industry chain is becoming increasingly perfect with continuous emergence of innovative achievements.
