(Hengyu Medicine) declared that at the recent 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, the company unveiled the preliminary results of its independently developed first-in-class oral highly selective FGFR2/3 inhibitor ABSK061 in combination with the oral PD-L1 inhibitor ABSK043, with or without CAPOX (oxaliplatin combined with capecitabine) treatment for FGFR2-positive advanced gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junction cancer (GC/GEJC) in phase II clinical trials. The study data demonstrated that ABSK061 in combination with ABSK043, with or without CAPOX, showed good safety and positive anti-tumor activity in FGFR2-positive late-stage GC/GEJC patients, highlighting the potential of this targeted combination immunotherapy strategy as a novel treatment option for this patient population.
