Swedish energy company Orrn Energy announced a strategic deal to establish the leading independent power generation company in the Nordic region.

On June 25th local time, Swedish energy company Orrn Energy announced an agreement with Norwegian renewable energy company Cloudberry Clean Energy. Orrn Energy stated that it will merge its Nordic renewable energy platform and organization, excluding the Karskruv wind farm, with Cloudberry to establish a leading independent power generation company in the Nordic region. As part of the transaction, Orrn Energy will receive 27.01% of shares in the merged Cloudberry, becoming its largest shareholder. Orrn Energy will continue to hold the Karskruv wind farm and its large-scale European development business, including data centers, solar and battery projects.
