Chicago soybean and corn futures rose by about 2%, while New York cocoa rose by approximately 5.2%, approaching the January 13th peak of $5,658.
On Thursday, the closing of the New York market, the Bloomberg Grain Commodity Index rose by 1.63% to 29.5998 points. After the start of trading for the day, the index slightly declined to a daily low of 29.0082 points at 10:05 Beijing time, but bounced back continuously from this level after the opening of the US stock market.
CBOT corn futures rose by 1.84% to $4.4275 per bushel. CBOT wheat futures rose by 0.88% to $6.0125 per bushel. CBOT soybean futures rose by 1.98% to $11.5750 per bushel, with soybean meal futures rising by 1.50% and soybean oil futures rising by 2.14%.
ICE raw sugar futures rose by 0.89% and ICE white sugar futures rose by 0.05%. ICE Arabica coffee futures fell by 3.28%, while coffee "C" futures fell by 0.16%. Robusta coffee futures rose by 1.69%.
New York cocoa futures rose by 5.17% to $5230 per ton, while London cocoa futures rose by 1.04%. Chicago WCE canola futures rose by 0.50%, and ICE cotton futures rose by 0.96%.
