CMIG Guangyuan Coal-fired Power Generation Project Unit 1 put into operation.
On June 25th, the No. 1 unit of the Zhongmei Guangyuan coal-fired power generation project successfully completed 168 hours of full-load trial operation and officially entered commercial operation. This project is located in Qingjiang Village, Baolun Town, Lizhou District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, and is led by China Energy Construction Southwest Institute for the EPC general contracting construction. Two new 1000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation units were built, along with the construction of efficient flue gas desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal facilities. After completing the long-term full-load trial operation, the various operating parameters of the units are stable and capable of continuous safe and efficient power generation. In terms of environmental performance, the project's pollutant emissions indicators have reached an advanced level in China, with particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxide emissions concentrations lower than 4, 20, and 24 milligrams per standard cubic meter, respectively, far exceeding national ultra-low emission standards. The project achieves zero discharge of wastewater throughout the plant, significantly improving the level of green and clean production. As an important power support project in the northeast Sichuan region, the project is expected to generate over 9 billion kilowatt-hours per year after production, effectively improving the regional power supply guarantee capacity, alleviating local power shortages, and providing stable energy support for industrial production and residential electricity consumption.
