On June 25, 2026, the Intermediate People's Court of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, sentenced Anhui Guangzhi Technology Co., Ltd., and defendants Liu Liu, Cao Yan, and Zhu Bangfu for smuggling goods prohibited from import and export by the state in the first instance trial. Anhui Guangzhi Technology Co., Ltd. was fined RMB 8 million for the crime of smuggling goods prohibited from import and export by the state; Liu Liu, the directly responsible senior manager, was sentenced to ten years in prison and fined RMB one million; Cao Yan was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined RMB 800,000; Zhu Bangfu, another directly responsible person, was sentenced to three years in prison, with a five-year probation period, and fined RMB 200,000.
