IDC: Global shipments of handheld smart cameras increased by 33% year-on-year in the first quarter.

On June 25th, the latest report from International Data Corporation (IDC) showed that the global shipments of handheld smart cameras reached 4.14 million units in the first quarter of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 33%. The sales revenue exceeded 10.5 billion RMB, an increase of 20% compared to the previous year. IDC predicts that by 2030, the global market size of handheld smart cameras will exceed 40 million units, with a five-year compound annual growth rate of close to 18%.
