Assistant Minister of Commerce Zhang Li meets with Chairman of Saudi International Power and Water Company, Abu Nyang.

On June 23, Assistant Minister of Commerce Zhang Li met with the Chairman of Saudi International Power and Water Company, Abunayyan, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening contracting projects and bilateral investment cooperation. Zhang Li stated that in recent years, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia has deepened, and economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has achieved fruitful results. China welcomes Saudi International Power and Water Company and other Saudi companies to fully utilize the vast opportunities during China's 15th Five-Year Plan period to expand investment in China. China appreciates the good partnership between Saudi International Power and Water Company and Chinese enterprises, and hopes that the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in new energy, power, and desalination. Abunayyan commended China for its tremendous economic achievements and positive contributions to global development, and expressed that Saudi International Power and Water Company will continue to strengthen cooperation with Chinese enterprises, jointly implement more projects in the fields of engineering and bilateral investment, and promote the development of bilateral economic and trade relations.
