Former Deputy General Manager Zhang Wei of Inner Mongolia Geological Mineral Group Co., Ltd. has been prosecuted.

Recently, the former deputy general manager of Inner Mongolia Geological Mineral Group Co., Ltd., Zhang Wei, was investigated and concluded by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Supervisory Committee for the crimes of accepting bribes, accepting bribes as a non-state functionary, and bribery. The case was transferred to the procuratorate for examination and prosecution. Designated by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Procuratorate, the Bayannaoer City People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Bayannaoer City Intermediate People's Court in accordance with the law. The case is still under further processing. During the review and prosecution stage, the procuratorate informed the defendant Zhang Wei of his litigation rights and questioned the defendant in accordance with the law, and listened to the opinions of the defense lawyers. The Bayannaoer City People's Procuratorate accuses Zhang Wei of taking advantage of his position as a state functionary to seek benefits for others, illegally obtaining a large amount of property from others; and taking advantage of his position as a corporate employee to seek benefits for others, illegally obtaining a substantial amount of property from others; and for the purpose of gaining improper benefits, giving property to state functionaries, he shall be held criminally responsible for the crimes of accepting bribes, accepting bribes as a non-state functionary, and bribery.
