The 17th Annual Meeting of the New Leaders of the World Economic Forum, also known as the 2026 Summer Davos Forum, began on June 23rd in Dalian, Liaoning Province, lasting for 3 days. This forum fully implements the green concept, for the first time, all meeting rooms are concentrated on the same floor, and the core venue achieves 100% green electricity supply. Men Zhiyong, Deputy Manager of Zhongshan District Power Supply Company of State Grid Dalian, stated that a major breakthrough in the green event of this year's Davos Forum is that Dalian International Conference Center and Dalian Bangchuidao Hotel are all supplied with new energy green electricity. It is estimated that 1.1 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity will be used in June, reducing carbon emissions by about 580 tons.
