United Nations agency: More than 10,000 residential buildings destroyed in southern Lebanon.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said on the 23rd that according to a recent assessment report, more than 13,000 residential buildings in southern Lebanon have been completely destroyed or partially damaged, leading to displaced people fleeing due to the war and unable to return home. The humanitarian situation in this region remains severe. The assessment was jointly conducted by the United Nations Development Programme and the Lebanese National Scientific Research Council. The assessment shows that more than 11,000 residential buildings in the area have been completely destroyed, with an additional approximately 2,200 partially damaged.
