Japan issues affirmative preliminary anti-dumping ruling on cold-rolled stainless steel sheet and coil from China

According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on June 19, the Japanese Ministry of Finance issued a notice affirming the anti-dumping preliminary ruling on cold-rolled stainless steel coils from mainland China and Taiwan. It preliminarily determined that the dumping margin of Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Jyjin Metal Technology Co., Ltd., as well as non-sampled producers from mainland China, is 33.29%. The dumping margin of Posco Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and other producers/exporters from mainland China is 45.32%. The dumping margin for the products involved from Taiwan ranges from 3.86% to 20.71%. The dumping investigation period in this case is from January 1, 2024 to December 3, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022, to December 3, 2024.
