ByteDance launches professional version of Douyin, upgrades complex productivity tools, and opens subscription.

On June 24th, ByteDance launched a professional version of its AI assistant Dou Bao. This version incorporates the new Dou Bao 2.1 Pro large model, focusing on complex scenarios such as application development and data analysis. On the product side, the professional version introduces the "office task mode," which supports AI autonomously breaking down tasks, operating on local computers, and accessing the Office suite. This marks Dou Bao's evolution from simple Q&A dialogue to a productivity tool with strong execution capabilities, significantly enhancing enterprise programming capabilities. In terms of pricing, the professional version implements a three-tier pricing system: standard continuous monthly package priced at 68 yuan, enhanced version at 200 yuan, premium version at 500 yuan; with a student discount at 38 yuan/month. Dou Bao stated that this is an added value subscription service, with existing free version features remaining unchanged and continuing to be iterated.
