Nanodrug delivery robots with modular design can self-assemble.
Scientists at the University of Basel in Switzerland have developed a multifunctional nano-delivery robot, consisting of propulsion modules and payload modules that can be reused and self-assembled. Experimental results show that the robot can target cancer cells and reduce their activity, with potential applications in the fields of medicine and industry. The related paper was published in the latest issue of the journal Advanced Functional Materials.
