The first national level seafarer assessment center in the North has been put into operation.

On June 23, the first national crew assessment center in northern China - the Tianjin Maritime Bureau Crew Assessment Center was inaugurated. It is of great significance for enhancing the soft power of international shipping and promoting the high-quality development of our country's crew. It is understood that the Tianjin Maritime Bureau Crew Assessment Center is equipped with international advanced software and hardware facilities such as a 360 panoramic navigation simulator, automated engine room, ultra-large tanker simulator, dual-fuel engine simulator, etc. It has a total of 17 comprehensive assessment rooms and 280 computer-based testing seats in the three major categories of driving, machinery, and marine electronics and electrical engineering.
