Less than 100 kilometers away from the venue of the 4th Chain Expo in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, a national-level super large-scale green computing power cluster is being built. According to CCTV financial reporters, a large-scale single AI computing power cluster located in Huailai County, Zhangjiakou, has completed the first phase of the project and deployed over 200,000 servers, many of which are used for domestic internet companies' AI large model iterative training and application reasoning. The entire computing power cluster consumes over a million kilowatt-hours of electricity per hour. Zhangjiakou's wind energy resources can develop over 40 million kilowatts, providing stable support for the computing power industry with abundant green electricity resources. Not far from this project, another computing power center under construction completed the production of a new data center building in May this year. Data shows that by 2025, the total electricity consumption of national data centers will reach 170 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 1.6% of the total social electricity consumption. At the same time, the scale of green electricity supply in China continues to expand, with the total volume of green electricity trading reaching 328.5 billion kilowatt-hours by 2025. It is estimated within the industry that during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, as the coordinated development of green electricity and data centers nationwide progresses, the entire industry chain will usher in greater development opportunities.
