Audit Work Report: Overall pattern of audit rectification further consolidated and improved.

The State Council's Report on the Audit of the Execution of the Central Budget and Other Fiscal Revenues and Expenditures in 2025 was submitted for review at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The report shows that the overall framework for audit rectification has been further consolidated and improved. By the end of April 2026, approximately 1.41 trillion yuan of the problems identified in the 2024 audit had been rectified, over 1150 systems had been improved, and over 3690 individuals had been disciplined. The results of the audit of central financial management show that in 2025, the total revenue of the central general public budget is approximately 9.73 trillion yuan, total expenditure is approximately 14.59 trillion yuan, and the deficit is 4.86 trillion yuan, in line with the budget.
