From 6:00 on June 22nd to 6:00 on June 23rd, 21 counties and 149 observation stations in Guizhou Province experienced heavy rainstorms. Up to now, more than 9,100 people have been urgently evacuated in various parts of Guizhou. In Qiandongnan Prefecture, a regional heavy rainfall process occurred across the entire prefecture from 14:00 on June 22nd, with a water depth of about 1 meter and a length of about 600 meters in Nangong Town, Taijiang County. The local authorities quickly organized the evacuation of the residents. The rescue personnel of the Fire and Rescue Brigade of Taijiang County were divided into groups to search and rescue in the water, focusing on evacuating elderly people trapped and evacuating affected residents.
