Dongfang Electric independently developed PEM hydrogen production equipment is put into operation.

Recently, the proton exchange membrane water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment independently developed and delivered by Dongfang Electric, specifically designed for power station generator cooling, successfully completed 168 hours of continuous full-load trial operation at Yuneng Hengshan Power Plant, and was successfully put into operation. The successful commissioning of this PEM hydrogen production equipment provides a replicable and referenceable practical example for the upgrade and transformation of hydrogen production systems for thermal power units. This milestone signifies that Dongfang Electric has completed key technological iterations in the field of specialized PEM hydrogen production equipment for power station cooling, and this technology will be commercially operated in multiple thermal power plants in the future.
