Apple and Tesla's core supplier Tata Electronics have been targeted by a cyber attack, with over 630GB of data being leaked.

On June 23, it was reported that Tata Electronics of India has confirmed that the company recently experienced a "cybersecurity incident". Prior to this, security researchers revealed that the ransomware organization "WorldLeaks" had released more than 200,000 files on the dark web, purportedly stolen from Tata Electronics, including component designs, specification files, and business secrets of its core clients Apple and Tesla. The leaked data amounts to more than 630GB. Tata Electronics stated in a declaration: "A few weeks ago, Tata Electronics discovered a cybersecurity incident in some of our systems. Our response plan was immediately activated, and the incident did not have any impact on the operations of our various businesses, none of which were affected." Sources say that Apple is currently conducting a "comprehensive analysis" investigation into this data breach event.
