The General Offices of the Ministry of Commerce and 8 other departments have released a list of pilot cities for reforming the circulation of automobile consumption.

According to the Intelligent Finance and Economics APP, on June 23, the office of the Ministry of Commerce and 8 other departments issued a notice on the list of pilot cities for automobile circulation consumption reform. In order to thoroughly implement the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, accelerate the clearing of unreasonable restrictions on automobile circulation consumption, and expand automobile consumption throughout the whole chain, in accordance with the requirements of the notice on launching the pilot work of automobile circulation consumption reform by the Ministry of Commerce and 8 other departments, after declaration in various regions, expert review and public announcement, a total of 40 pilot cities for automobile circulation consumption reform have been determined and are now being announced. The notice proposes that each pilot city should combine local industrial characteristics, market characteristics, resource endowment, location conditions, functional positioning and other practical situations, focus on key directions to tackle problems such as unreasonable restrictions on automobile circulation consumption, further refine target tasks and improve reform and innovation measures based on the submitted pilot programs, strengthen guarantee elements such as land and funds, coordinate the use of relevant support policies, simplify and optimize approval and filing procedures, strengthen the improvement of relevant management and service systems, cultivate new scenes, new formats and new models of automobile consumption, drive the integrated development of commercial, travel, culture, sports and health.
