According to Guanghetong News, Guanghetong has launched a storage-optimized version of the 5G module FG550-EAU based on the Samsung Exynos Modem platform. While maintaining complete business functionality and the ability for customization, the memory specification has been optimized from LPDDR4x 8Gb to LPDDR4x 4Gb, with a memory capacity optimization ratio of 50%. This solution is aimed at cost control and stable delivery demands in the mass production of 5G terminals, helping customers reduce terminal BOM costs, strengthen supply chain resilience, and provide a more certain selection solution for commercial scale deployment.
