Apollo Debt Solutions, a private credit fund under the Apollo Global Management umbrella with assets totaling $26 billion, announced on Monday that it has restricted redemption requests to 5% of fund shares. Previously, investors had sought to redeem approximately 16.8% of fund shares. According to documents submitted by the fund, initial data shows that paying out redemption amounts to these investors would result in total outflows of $700 million, exceeding inflows of $300 million. This means that the net outflow for the fund so far this year is approximately 3% of its assets. The redemption request rate for this fund is higher than the previous quarter, at approximately 11.2%. The fund primarily caters to wealthy individuals and typically allows investors to redeem partial funds once every three months.
