The Prime Minister of Iraq will visit Turkey in July to discuss issues related to oil exports.

According to a statement released by the office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Ali Zaidi has received an invitation from Turkish President Erdogan to visit Turkey in July. During a phone call with Erdogan, Ali Zaidi discussed issues of mutual concern, including the oil exports via the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline. Ali Zaidi also invited Turkish businesses to invest in Iraq. The two sides also discussed water resource issues.
