SpaceX will issue investment-grade bonds for the first time, and bankers are currently conducting a roadshow.
After completing a record-breaking $75 billion IPO in the United States, SpaceX has launched its first issuance of investment-grade bonds, expected to kick off a wave of heavy borrowing to fund its expansion in the AI field. According to sources familiar with the matter, several banks that previously provided short-term bridge financing to SpaceX - including Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley - arranged conference calls with investors on Monday. The sources indicated that a bond issuance is expected to follow, with maturities ranging from 5 to 30 years.
