According to Longhua Technology, recently, Dr. Li Zijia from Zhengtai New Energy and Professor Yang Xinbo from Suzhou University's team published a new perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell technology in the top international journal "Science", achieving a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 33.2%. The key target material used in this technology was provided by Crystal Solar, a subsidiary of Longhua Technology Group. The RPD-SnOx tin oxide target material was independently developed and produced by the Crystal Solar R&D team. With the excellent film formation characteristics of the target material, a pure tin-based thin film with both interface composite layer and transparent conductive electrode functions was constructed, successfully helping this technology achieve a new breakthrough. This breakthrough marks an important advancement in the field of tin-free solar cells, providing a new path for the development of low-cost, high-efficiency photovoltaic technology in the future. The success of this technology eliminates the dependence on the rare metal indium while maintaining high conversion efficiency, and it has significant industrial application prospects.
