The drug belongs to the fourth category of chemical drugs and has been approved through consistency evaluation, making the company the third in China to receive such approval. Methanesulfonic Acid Safinamide tablets are mainly used for the combined treatment of adult patients with primary Parkinson's disease and symptoms of fluctuations, in conjunction with other Parkinson's disease medications such as levodopa. The group's Methanesulfonic Acid Safinamide raw material has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration for use in marketed formulations.
