Liujiang has experienced the first flood of the year, with 63 ferry crossings being halted.

According to CCTV News, due to continuous heavy rainfall and inflow of water from upstream, as of 2:00 PM today, the water level of Liujiang River has risen to 83 meters and is still rising, with a corresponding flow rate of 15,600 cubic meters per second. At 8:05 AM today, the water level at Liuzhou hydrological station on Liujiang River reached the warning level of 82.50 meters. According to relevant regulations on flood levels of major rivers, this flood is designated as "Liujiang River 2026 First Flood".
