On June 18, Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations, met with Fahd, CEO of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). The two sides exchanged views on the development and strengthening of investment cooperation of enterprises in China. Ling Ji stated that in recent years, Sino-Saudi economic and trade cooperation has continued to develop healthily, and Saudi Aramco and SABIC are active participants and contributors. Fahd stated that the outlook for the Chinese economy is promising, and SABIC sees China as one of its most important strategic markets.
