The first large hydropower station in Tibet has passed the completion acceptance.

Recently, the first large-scale hydropower station in Tibet, the Zangmu Hydropower Station on the Yarlung Tsangpo River, designed and built by China Energy Construction, passed the completion acceptance smoothly, becoming the first large-scale hydropower project on the main stream of the Yarlung Tsangpo River to pass acceptance. The installed capacity of the Zangmu Hydropower Station is 510 megawatts, with a maximum dam height of 116 meters. It is the first large-scale hydropower station planned and constructed on the main stream of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, and one of the three key projects in Tibet during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, achieving a significant leap from 100 megawatts to 500 megawatts in Tibet's power construction.
