Apache Corporation (APA.US) and Murphy Oil Corporation (MUR.US) both dropped by over 3%, while Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY.US), ConocoPhillips (COP.US), and Chevron Corporation (CVX.US) fell by over 2%. In terms of news, oil prices dropped to their lowest since the outbreak of war after a ceasefire agreement was reached between the US and Iran. Brent crude oil futures fell by over 3%, closing at $77.02 per barrel; WTI crude oil futures fell by 3.6%, closing at $73.27 per barrel.
