Steam Turbine Technology: The Lianyungang Gas Turbine Demonstration Project is expected to complete the delivery of the independent gas turbine orders by 2026.

Qilun Technology recently stated during an institutional research visit that the company established a team in 2014 to start independent gas turbine development. They completed the digital prototype design in 2019, and from 2020 to 2023, they successively completed experiments on turbines, combustion chambers, compressors, and hydrotreating tests. In July 2024, they completed the assembly of the prototype. In 2025, they completed ignition tests and full load tests. In May 2026, the company completed a 72+24-hour continuous full-load operation test, marking that the independent gas turbine of the company is now ready for commercial operation. In the future, the company will continue to carry out tests such as extreme condition testing. In May 2026, the subsidiary company Hangzhou Qilun New Energy Co., Ltd. won the bid for the EPC project of the first phase of the Lianyungang independent gas turbine test and application demonstration base. Based on the current progress, it is expected that the Lianyungang turbine demonstration project will have the independent gas turbine delivered by 2026.
