US stocks at the opening: Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 4.6%

Semiconductor stocks rose, with Micron Technology up about 6% and AMD up about 4%. The optoelectronics sector rose, with Lumentum Holdings up about 5%. SpaceX fell about 2%, after dropping nearly 5% in the previous trading day.
