According to statistics from the Shanghai Customs, in the first 5 months of this year, the export value of various separately listed robots from Shanghai ports reached 83.6 billion yuan, sold to 113 countries and regions worldwide, accounting for over 40% of the total national robot exports and ranking first in the country. Specifically, cleaning robots represented by floor-sweeping robots have become the main force in exports due to mature technological advantages and clear application scenarios, with a total export value of 61.1 billion yuan in the first 5 months, accounting for 71.6% of Shanghai ports' total robot exports. The export of industrial robots has also continued its high-speed growth from last year, with exports of 21.3 billion yuan in the first 5 months, a year-on-year increase of 39.5%, successfully entering traditional industrial robot markets such as Germany and Japan, with exports to Germany and Japan increasing by 84% and 36.5% respectively in the first 5 months.
