In order to comprehensively understand the natural ecological conditions of our country's jurisdictional waters and support the service of marine ecological protection, from June 16th to 18th, the East China Sea Bureau of the Ministry of Natural Resources conducted a marine environmental survey in the waters east of Taiwan Island using the research vessel "Xiangyanghong 22". This survey used multidisciplinary simultaneous investigation methods to collect data on marine environmental DNA, birds, cetaceans, marine chemistry, hydrology and meteorology, etc. It laid the foundation for further understanding the key habitat conditions in this sea area and conducting ecological system health assessment in our country. It also provided scientific basis for the protection of marine biodiversity in this sea area.
