In June 2025, Shanghai officially launched the Carbon Inclusive Platform, connecting the carbon market absorption channels, innovating and expanding the application scenarios of carbon credit malls, ecological damage compensation, etc., and promoting the coordinated efforts of individual low-carbon behaviors, corporate responsibilities, and city green governance.
