Turkey has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into nylon and polyester high tenacity yarn used in curtain fabrics with Chinese origin.

On June 16th, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Notice No. 2026/9, stating that, in response to applications from Turkish producers, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on polyamide and polyester high-tenacity yarn curtains originating from China and Vietnam. The dumping investigation period is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to September 30, 2025. The products under investigation include woven fabrics made of nylon or other polyamides from China, treated with rubber for use in various types of vehicle tires, as well as woven fabrics made of polyester from China and Vietnam, treated with rubber for use in various types of vehicle tires. The announcement is effective from the date of publication.
