Wang Yuhui, the former captain of the Economic Crime Investigation Corps of Hubei Provincial Public Security Department, has been expelled from the party.

After investigation, Wang Yuhui lost his ideological beliefs, betrayed his initial mission, resisted organizational review; ignored the spirit of the Eight Central Provisions, accepted banquets in violation of regulations, received gifts and money that could affect the fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles, did not truthfully explain issues when questioned by the organization, sought benefits for others and received property in cadre selection and appointment work; failed to maintain integrity, infringed on national and collective interests in the distribution and purchase of housing; crossed the bottom line of discipline and law, turning public power into a tool to seek private gains, using his position to benefit others in project contracting, job promotion and other aspects, and illegally accepting huge amounts of money.
