Sichuan: From January to May, the added value of large-scale industries in the province increased by 6.0% year-on-year.

From January to May, the industrial added value of large-scale industries in Sichuan Province increased by 6.0% year-on-year, and the sales rate of products of large-scale industrial enterprises was 95.1%. Looking at the three major categories, the added value of mining industry increased by 7.5% year-on-year; manufacturing industry grew by 5.7%; and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, and water increased by 6.5%. Looking at the economic types, the added value of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 5.8% year-on-year; the added value of joint-stock enterprises grew by 6.4%; foreign, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwanese investment enterprises increased by 2.6%; and private enterprises increased by 3.4%.
