HSBC Bank and Google Cloud announce collaboration on artificial intelligence.

HSBC Bank released a statement stating that the bank has reached a long-term partnership agreement with Google Cloud to build and implement artificial intelligence technology capabilities in HSBC's global business. The two parties plan to accelerate innovation in areas such as highly personalized wealth management advisory and financial crime risk management. HSBC will collaborate with Google Cloud and the Google DeepMind technology team to leverage Google's latest intelligent Agent AI technology, including the Gemini series models and the Gemini enterprise intelligent Agent platform. The partnership is expected to roll out more than 200 new artificial intelligence application scenarios in the next two years, prioritizing high-value projects; HSBC estimates that such projects could generate over $100 million in benefits. Previously, HSBC had more than 600 applications deployed and running on Google Cloud, and this collaboration is a further expansion on the existing partnership.
