The 2026 China-US Local Cooperation Dialogue, sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the People's Government of Henan Province, was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan on June 16. Representatives from more than 20 states in the United States, such as Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota, as well as industry associations such as the American Heartland China Association, the China-US Chamber of Commerce, the American Soybean Association, the American Soybean Export Council, the American Rice Alliance, and the American Association of Cereal and Bioproducts, attended the event. Representatives from well-known American companies such as Cargill, Kodia, and Walmart, as well as 15 American schools and research institutions including Harvard and Yale, and delegates from five provinces in China including Henan, Liaoning, Anhui, Hunan, and Shaanxi totaling more than 200 people, were also present.
