Songyan Power releases the first open-source Hongmeng robot and will give away robots for free to 100 developers.

At the Huawei Developer Conference HDC2026, Songyan Power's first open-source Hongmeng consumer humanoid robot - the OpenHarmony version N2 made its debut. Huawei's terminal BG Chairman Yu Chengdong highlighted Songyan Power as the representative of the robot direction in the six major categories of "open-source Hongmeng entering thousands of households," emphasizing the importance of humanoid robots in connecting homes, life, and future intelligent terminals in the open-source Hongmeng ecosystem. During the conference, Songyan Power also launched the "100 People, 100 Robots" developer collaboration plan, targeting outstanding developers and development teams, providing open high-performance humanoid robot hardware support, selecting 100 developers or teams, and providing each person with a humanoid robot for local development.
