Wu Biao, former director of the Policy Research Office of the Agricultural Development Bank of China, has been expelled from the Communist Party and removed from office.
After investigation, Wu Biao has lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, been disloyal and dishonest to the party, resisted organizational review; disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation, accepted banquets and travel activities that may affect the fair execution of public duties, received vehicle transportation services provided by others for free; violated organizational principles, sought benefits for others and accepted money and property in the recruitment of staff; failed to maintain a clean bottom line, accepted gifts and money that may affect the fair execution of public duties, tacitly allowed relatives to use their own authority or influence in their duties to seek personal gain, and illegally borrowed money from management and service targets; without any bottom line of discipline and law, used public power as a tool to seek personal gain, used his position to profit for others in loan approval and disbursement, engineering project contracting, engineering payment settlement and other aspects, and illegally accepted large sums of money.
