The first 800 kV/80 kA high capacity circuit breaker in the world is put into operation.

On June 11th, the first international 800 kV/80 kA high-capacity circuit breaker developed by State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power Research Institute in collaboration with Xi'an Jiaotong University, China Electric Power Research Institute, Henan Pinggao Electric Co., Ltd., and other units was put into operation at the 750 kV Qindao substation of State Grid Shaanxi Electric Power.
