Shanghai Airport Announcement: In May 2026, the total number of takeoffs and landings at Pudong International Airport was 45,297, a decrease of 2.25% compared to the previous year; the passenger throughput was 7.0048 million, a decrease of 0.98% compared to the previous year; and the cargo and mail throughput was 395,800 tons, an increase of 18.00% compared to the previous year. Among them, the domestic route passenger throughput was 3.831 million, a decrease of 3.24% compared to the previous year; and the international route passenger throughput was 3,173,800, an increase of 1.89% compared to the previous year. The total number of takeoffs and landings at Hongqiao International Airport was 23,622, a decrease of 1.22% compared to the previous year; the passenger throughput was 4.2068 million, a decrease of 2.31% compared to the previous year; and the cargo and mail throughput was 39,700 tons, an increase of 10.33% compared to the previous year.
