Before Trump implemented restrictions, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had expressed concerns about the security of AnsoPA AI model.

According to two individuals familiar with the communication situation, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, along with several other technology industry executives, expressed concerns about the security risks posed by Anthropic's top AI models to senior officials in the Trump administration this week. The sources said that as one of Anthropic's major investors and service providers, and Amazon executive recently communicated with government officials to push the Trump administration to implement new export control measures on Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5 and Fable 5 models citing national security concerns last Friday night. The ban prohibits foreign nationals from using the two models. Anthropic stated that in compliance with the new regulations, the company has shut down all user access to these two models.
