The reporter learned from the Fujian Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters that from the night of June 13 to the day of June 14, most of the cities in Nanping, Sanming, Longyan, Zhangzhou, Xiamen, and Ningde in Fujian Province had heavy rain or torrential rain, with 24-hour accumulated rainfall of 50-120 millimeters, locally reaching 200 millimeters, and the maximum hourly rainfall of 90 millimeters. The Fujian Provincial Flood Control Command initiated a level IV emergency response to flood control at 20:00 on June 13. Fujian Province requested all relevant departments in various localities to closely monitor the impact of heavy rainfall and solidly carry out response work.
