Journalists learned from the domestic large-scale model enterprise Zhipu that the domestic large-scale model GLM-5.2 will be open to all users of the GLM Coding Plan at 17:21, covering Lite, Pro, Max, and Team versions. Zhipu stated that GLM-5.2 is its strongest open-source model to date, supporting truly usable 1M contexts and maintaining a leading position in long-range coding tasks. The GLM-5.2 API is expected to be launched next week, and the model will also be open-sourced next week. In the announcement, Zhipu clearly stated: "At moments when some cutting-edge models suddenly become unavailable, we choose to believe in another path: cutting-edge intelligence should not only belong to a few people, and should not be easily taken back by a few rules. It should be open, usable, and buildable, and serve every developer."
