For the first time, the plateau railway has realized a direct journey to the Tibetan city.

This morning, a train carrying cold chain fresh goods, daily necessities, steel, chemical fertilizer and other materials departed from the Shuangzhai Station of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway in Xining, Qinghai Province, heading to the Lhasa West Station more than 1900 kilometers away. This is the first "Heavenly Road Express" intercity train operated by China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group this year, with a total transport volume exceeding 1400 tons. The goods are loaded at the starting station and fresh cold chain goods can reach the Lhasa West Station in one stop within 46 hours, achieving a new breakthrough in freight transportation on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.
