The total import and export value of Shaanxi Province increased by 83.6% year-on-year in the first five months.

According to the Shaanxi Daily, the total import and export value of Shaanxi reached 371.32 billion yuan from January to May this year, ranking twelfth nationwide with a year-on-year growth of 83.6%, the highest growth rate in the country. Specifically, exports reached 287.85 billion yuan, an increase of 103.3% year on year, while imports reached 83.47 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.7%. The export growth of integrated circuits, automatic data processing equipment and its components was strong. The export of mechanical and electrical products reached 267.83 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 120%. This includes the export of integrated circuits reaching 154.68 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 201.5%; automatic data processing equipment and its components export reaching 53.13 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 339.4%; automobile export reaching 23.91 billion yuan; solar battery export reaching 7.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.1%; and lithium battery export reaching 2.55 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 125.2%. In addition, agricultural product export reached 2.57 billion yuan, and basic organic chemical product export reached 1.05 billion yuan.
